It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my home page. As a musician, it is always exciting to share my experience of art with others, whether they be fellow pianists, composers, students, or simply, lovers of music.
The purpose of this site is twofold. First and foremost, it is intended to make my compositions and recordings more accessible to the general public. As new works are created and recordings emerge, they will be added to the existing collection. No less important is the intention to provide pedagogical tools to students and curious minds alike. These range from personal essays on music to traditional analyses of selected works, carried out in full, and complete with musical examples. Most recently, I have updated the site in order to make use of a very useful form of media: video. In this domain, a series of mini courses guide visitors through various musical topics and provide an opportunity for them to submit exercises for feedback. Similarly, the section entitled "Musical Tidbits" presents a series of videos devoted to compositional craft as illustrated by the works of great masters.
To navigate this site, consult the bar on the left-hand side and click on the link associated with your desired destination. For a list of new additions, please scroll down. Enjoy!
